Reisch joins Heffernan after majoring in finance at San Diego State University, and a career at a major insurance carrier in Southern California. Reischs family has a history in the brewing industry. His family operated Reisch Brewing Co. from 1849 to 1966, and his father, an award-winning 5th generation brewmaster, is active in the industry.

Has appointed George Reisch leader of its Brewers Choice practice. In this role, Reisch will be charged with new business development, focusing on property and casualty insurance for the brewing and distribution related industries.

The move was prompted by the AMII in September, which approached UK private medical insurers (PMI) and the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) to form a discussion panel to focus on the issue of transparency of claims information in the private medical insurance industry.

Short Hills, New Jersey-based insurance agency Bollinger Inc. has acquired BK International Insurance Brokers of Greenwich, Connecticut.

BK specializes in handling complex commercial accounts, including those with international exposures. It also provides insurance through its School Insurance Group division to public and private schools with a concentration in downstate New York and Connecticut regions.

In the last quarter, Bollinger has also acquired MPPi Inc. , of Hazlet, New Jersey, The Gorga Agency, of Fairfield, New Jersey and Allied Insurance Services of Vineland, New Jersey.
